These are pumps of KWP - series. They are mainly used in chemical and heavy industries for pumping different pulps and abrasives that occur, as well as for pumping paper pulp.
As materials, gray cast iron, alloys of super wear-resistant cast iron,
different acid-resistant steels, and alloys of super wear-resistant steel are used.
Impellers are manufactured of five types:
K-impeller is closed, unclog.
O-impeller is an open-type impeller.
F-impeller is a free flow impeller.
R –impeller is a screw impeller.
The mixed-type impeller is in pumps of CPP-series.

They are mainly used for pumping abrasives and large-grained impurities, such as soil, coal, sand, and crushed stone pulps.
The material is Gasite (special alloyed cast iron with high content of chrome), if needed, lined from inside with different materials, such as Neopren, Gathan, Polyuretan and Naturaalkumm.
