IMO Pump

IMO was founded in 1931 by the inventor of the three spindle pump, Mr. Carl Montelius and the Swedish entrepreneur Mr. Bengt Ingestrom.
The three IMO screws, one power rotor and two symmetrically opposed idler rotors are the basic components of the IMO pump. The threads, which seals against each other and against the casing form a series of enclosed chambers which move the trapped fluid in an axial direction with perfectly uniform speed by the action of the rotation of the rotors. | ![]() |
